The session would highlight- ‘how to make City of Regina’s snow disposal program more sustainable by implementing and managing a user fee charging initiative for storing privately hauled snow. This is in line with City’s Official Community Plan’.

There was an interest from several municipalities on this topic. The project was low cost but helped the City of Regina to recover their costs incurred on storing privately hauled snow.

The session will aim at providing awareness about the technology used for billing, challenges experienced during the initial phase of the project implementation as well as some ongoing corrective actions.
